How Can You Help Support ISU?

There are many ways that you can provide much needed private support to Indiana State University. The ISU Foundation accepts several different types of gifts; and we make it simple for you to choose the method that will help you to make the most impact. Take a minute to look over the varying gift options and find the choice that works best for you.

ISU Gift Planning

Deferred gifts provide a way for your generosity to live on after your death. As you are planning your estate, there are many options to consider in support of ISU. These deferred gifts require the assistance of the ISU Foundation and an attorney or other advisor. Available options include:

Direct bequests of money
Percentages of the estates
Gifts of personal or corporate property
Gifts of stocks or bonds
Lifetime income trusts
Life insurance policies

Electronic Funds Transfer

ISU offers an electronic banking service to make your support of the University easier and more cost-effective. Your annual gift can be spread out over 12 monthly donations of $10 or more.

Stocks and Securities

Gifts of stocks and bonds that have appreciated in value provide excellent tax savings for donors. Please contact the Office of University Development at (800) 242-1409 or (812) 237-3669 for more information on making this kind of charitable gift and the preferred methods of transfer.

Matching Gifts

Many businesses and corporations match charitable gifts, allowing you to double or even triple your gift to ISU. Most companies require a special form to be completed, while others have automated programs requiring a phone call. Contact your human resources office for information about your company’s program.
