Inspiring Stories

Scott Koressel, 2009 graduate and athlete of Indiana State University, has already started giving back to his alma mater. Koressel was blessed with financial aid as a Networks Scholar and cross country, track and field athlete.  The scholarships he received helpedhim gain experiences that have helped him understand the true value associated with hard work. Koressel hopes that he can “help other students have a similar experience by giving a back.” He gives to the Fund for Indiana State, the Networks Scholars Program, and the Sycamore Varsity Club—all areas that supported his goals throughout his time at ISU.

Koressel keeps close ties with his teammates and coaches. When asked about his time at Indiana State University, he said “attending ISU was the best experience I ever had.” Koressel is very thankful for the faculty, coaches, and friends he met at ISU who helped him to become the person he is today.
