Clint Weddle selected as Director of Corporate and Foundation Giving

Clint Weddle hired as director of corporate and foundation givingThe Indiana State University Division of University Advancement has hired Clint Weddle as Director of Corporate and Foundation Giving. In this role, Weddle will focus on developing and expanding corporate partnerships and support from foundations to provide funding for strategic university initiatives.

“I am excited for Clint to join the advancement team. His fundraising experience and strong ties to the Terre Haute community and Indiana State make Clint a great fit for this position,” said Andrea Angel, vice president of University Advancement and CEO of the ISU Foundation.

Weddle has been a Director of Development with the Ivy Tech Foundation since 2018. Prior to that he worked with the Clay County School Corporation as the Wabash Valley Corporate Programming Coordinator and coached the boys’ basketball team. Weddle’s coaching career also includes six years with the Indiana State Women’s Basketball program as an Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator.

“We have a tremendous opportunity to develop and expand our relationships with corporate partners and foundations to philanthropically support Indiana State,” said Jeremiah Turner, associate vice president for University Advancement and chair of the search committee for the position.  “Clint understands the critical role fundraising has in the success of Indiana State, and he has witnessed firsthand the opportunities it creates for our students.”

Weddle will begin as the director of corporate and foundation giving on August 19.
