Indiana State University officials announced the inaugural Give to Blue Day during the Founders Day program on Feb. 6. To help kick off this effort, Dr. Robert and Susan Guell, shared their commitment to create The ISU Faculty and Staff Bridge the Gap Annual Scholarship. The couple’s generous pledge of $15,000 was inspired from involvement in the university’s Strategic Enrollment Management Council. Give to Blue Day will be held on Mar. 13.
Indiana State University alumna Lois "Jo" Einstandig has pledged $250,000 to support the university's need-based Bridge the Gap scholarship campaign.
Finances – not academics – are often the reason students drop out of college. Bridge the Gap scholarships provide the funding students need between the financial resources they have (financial aid, family contributions, etc.) and their full cost of attendance.
